Ocean State Ballet actively participates in prestigious ballet competitions such as the Youth America Grand Prix, Universal Ballet Competition, and National Ballet Competition. Our talented students have consistently secured top placements.

In 2024, OSB was honored with the Outstanding Studio Award at the Universal Ballet Competition Semifinals in Boston, and OSB dancers received both Aspire and Legacy Awards. OSB has also been invited to the YAGP Finals multiple times with soloists, ensembles, and pas de deux.

Competition participation is by invitation only. To be considered, dancers must be enrolled in the OSB Intensive Ballet Program, participate in at least two weeks of the OSB Summer Intensive, and take part in all offered OSB performances. This represents the highest level of commitment at Ocean State Ballet and is reserved for dedicated students who demonstrate strong work ethic, discipline, and a serious passion for their training.
