Isabella Maclea

Children’s Program Teacher

Isabella, born and raised in Rhode Island began dancing at the age of 3 with the Festival Ballet, Providence. For 15 years, her technical training involved Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Historical dance. Under the Instruction of world-class choreographers, Isabella performed in the company’s seasonal performances, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Up Close on Hope, and other productions led by influential guest artists. She attended many summers of her school’s intensive program and competed in the National Youth America Grand Prix. Before culminating with the Festival Ballet, she performed her contemporary solo choreographed by Sura Baryshnikov and continued to nurture her passion for dance after moving to Boston for college. After returning back to Providence, Isabella is elated to step back into the studio and watch her students fall in love with dance.
