Jennifer Cicerone

Jazz Teacher

Jennifer began her lifelong love for dance at the age of five, when she began her dance training at Dance RI, in Providence Rhode Island. Her technical dance training includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern. Jennifer continued her dance training as a member of the Rhode Island College Dance Company, where she received a BA in Theatre and Dance and an MAT in Elementary Education.

Ms. Cicerone has taught dance throughout the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts including; the “Chance to Dance” Program, Director of Dance at Hope High School in Providence, Brown University’s Arts/Literacy Project, High Steppin’ Dance Academy, and Festival Ballet Providence.

Jennifer is currently a reading coach with 22 years of experience educating children and teachers in the Providence School Department. She continues to study at the Modern Jazz Dance Company in Providence and the Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
