Open Audition
Ugly Duckling returns this spring, bringing with it a story of transformation and hope. Through heartfelt storytelling, the ballet follows the journey of a misunderstood duckling who discovers its true self and transforms into a magnificent swan.
We’re excited to invite our youngest Ducklings to join the production of Ugly Duckling on May 30 at 6:00 PM at The Woodman Center at Moses Brown School!
Open audition will be held at Ocean State Ballet on January 11th, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 PM for children ages 4–9 who are under 50 inches tall. No dance experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and joy! Dancers should be able to listen and follow simple directions.

Alice in Wonderland Ballet Workshop
Join us for a magical week inspired by Alice in Wonderland! Designed for children ages 5–8, this enchanting workshop includes daily ballet classes, themed crafts, and a special viewing of the Alice in Wonderland ballet. Throughout the week, dancers will bring the story to life as they prepare a short Alice in Wonderland-inspired dance to share with families at the end of the workshop. No prior dance experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and a love of adventure!
